Publer’s main feature, called “auto-scheduling,” lets you set up posts to go out automatically at specific times on different social networks. You can also decide how your posts look and what they say.
For example, you can tell Publer to put two pictures in Facebook posts, keep Twitter messages short, and avoid using emojis or GIFs on LinkedIn. You can even add tags to keep your content organized.
Once you’ve set your rules, Publer handles the rest. Just schedule your posts, and Publer makes sure they follow your guidelines.

Use this feature to guide your followers to your website or a specific blog post. When planning your Instagram posts, you can also add a link.
How to set up Link in Bio on Publer:
- Go to Social Accounts.
- Click on your IG Account.
- Select the Link in Bio tab.
- Fill in the details for: Username, Website, Button, Tap on post tooltip, and Links.
Bulk scheduling
Are you tired of setting up posts one by one? Why not schedule them all together?
Publer lets you upload up to 500 media items in one go using a CSV file. The file should have six columns with the following details:
- Publishing date.
- Message or text of the post.
- Link to an external URL.
- Media URL.
The title section for a Facebook album or video.
- Labels.
Combined with the Auto Schedule feature, this saves a lot of time when scheduling your content.
Signatures and watermarks
You can add a watermark to every post or scheduled post you make through Publer (except for posts on Twitter). This helps increase brand recognition and protects your content’s copyright.
To use these features, go to the “Accounts” tab and select the account where you want to add a signature or watermark.
To add a watermark, go to your profile settings and click on “Watermarks.” From there, you can upload your logo. You have the option to add a maximum of 10 watermarks.
Recurring posts
Ever wanted to share the same post again without having to do it manually every time? That’s where recurring posts come in handy!
Simply create a recurring post and schedule when and how often you want it to appear on your chosen social media platform.
Here’s how to create recurring social posts:
- Go to the Create tab.
- Select the social accounts and customize the post.
- Choose the Recurring mode from the dropdown menu.
- Specify how often the post should recur – every X days, weeks, months, or years.
- If you choose weekly recurrence, pick which day you want it to repeat.
- Set a start and end date for the post to recur.
- Choose the time you want the post to reappear.
- Finally, click the Schedule button.
Calendar view
Publer has an easy-to-use calendar dashboard view that’s neat and organized.
When you click the Calendar tab, it defaults to the monthly view. However, you can customize the view to show daily, weekly, or monthly schedules.
With the monthly view, you can quickly check the frequency of scheduled and published posts.
The daily view helps you spot the times you plan to post content.
Meanwhile, the weekly option provides a condensed version of the monthly view.
This feature lets you easily drag content to other dates, making it simple to reschedule a post.
Plus, each content has an icon showing if it’s drafted, scheduled, or posted.
Publer also lets you filter posts by team members and social accounts, handy when your social media calendar gets crowded.
Media integrations
Publer’s media library stores all your videos, photos, and GIFs in one place, making it easy to find your frequently used media files.
The media library is well-organized with two viewing options: Grid and List view. Grid is for quickly skimming through visuals, while List view offers a detailed look.
You can add labels to categorize visuals, helping team members find what they need. It also allows filtering by usage, type, etc.
You can access your media library on your VistaCreate or Canva account, making it easy to create or edit visual content. If you want to edit existing photos, you can use Publer’s built-in photo editor.
Analytics
Even though Publer is mainly for posting, it still gives you reports and insights like other social media analytics tools. You can customize the reports you get and decide what your team sees too.
By default, reports cover the last seven days and become real-time after 24 hours. You can also check analytics for specific time periods to compare post performance over time.
Publer goes beyond just giving you numbers. It suggests the best times to post using AI and gives recommendations for each social media account.
Unfortunately, analytics are only available in the business plan, not the free one.
Here’s what you can find in Publer’s insight reports:
- Stats for each member’s posts: shows which content performs best, needs improvement, and who posted them.
- Email notifications: get the top three posts for a day or week for the social media channels connected to Publer.

How do you recycle posts in Publer?
First, check which posts perform well on your social accounts using the analytics dashboard.

- Click the “Add follow-up comments” button to include your scheduled comments. You can set intervals between them if needed. Repeat the process for up to 15 tweets in the thread.
- Once done, save and schedule your post.
Hashtag suggestions
Publer offers a feature that suggests hashtags for your posts. It can generate suggestions in five different ways: for text captions, single or multiple photos, GIFs, videos, and links.

You can upload media from your computer, an external URL, or a cloud. And Publer can figure out what type of media you’re uploading.
Once uploaded, you can add captions or rearrange your media to suit your needs.
Workspaces
Publer makes it simple for social media managers to handle multiple brand accounts with its Workspace feature. You can create a Workspace for each brand you manage, keeping everything organized. Plus, you can collaborate with team members and clients within each Workspace.
When you first start using Publer, you’ll create your initial Workspace. Then, you can add all the social media channels associated with one brand. You can also invite team members and clients to join and assign them roles like admin or editor.
If you’re managing multiple brands, you can create separate Workspaces for each one. This way, each team member can focus on their assigned accounts without seeing others. You can switch between Workspaces seamlessly while using just one account.
RSS feeds
An RSS feed provides a summary of website or blog posts, often seen when shared on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.
Sharing an RSS feed adds credibility to your social profile and increases link clicks, leading to more website visitors.
Unlike other scheduling tools, Publer allows you to include an RSS feed when sharing a URL.
Here’s how to set up an RSS feed on Publer:
- Find the RSS feed of the website you want to share.
- Go to RSS Feeds on the left tab in Publer and click Add RSS Feed.
- Enter the name of the feed and its RSS feed URL. You can include or remove keywords to customize it.
- Choose from No Action (store for later), Auto Post (publish immediately), or Auto Schedule (schedule for later).

Publer offers three types of subscriptions: Free, Professional, and Business plans.
With the Free plan, you don’t have to pay anything. But there are some limits. You can only connect up to three social media profiles per user, and you can publish content up to 10 times per social account.
For the Professional subscription, it starts at $12 per month. This gives you three social media profiles. If you need more profiles or want to add team members, it’s an extra $4 per social media account and $2 per user. The good thing is, scheduling posts and publishing are unlimited.
Now, the Business plan is the best one Publer offers, but it’s the most expensive. It starts at $21 per month and includes everything in the Professional plan. Plus, you get insight reports to track your performance.
Like with the Professional plan, you’ll pay extra for additional profiles and users. It’s $6 per month for each new profile and $3 per month for each new user.
